This building was originally the bathroom for customers of the New York Central Railroad Harlem Division, originally located near the green shanty further north on Hudson Avenue.

Two doors allowed for two occupants at a time, and there were two drawers on the back of each stall which were needed to empty and clean out the waste.

This artifact is owned by Chatham Village Historical Society.
