Chatham Village Historical Society is a community-led, not-for-profit organization based in the village of Chatham, New York. Our goal is to safeguard and maintain the rich history of the village of Chatham to educate and entertain our local community, preserving and at the same time celebrating the past and modern achievements of our village.
Our Mission:
• promote understanding of Chatham village history and heritage
• preserve the art, documents, and architecture of Chatham village
• collect, maintain, and preserve a library of history resources
• establish a village museum in Chatham village, New York
